Perth Clinics’ Graduate Nurse Program offers comprehensive support and guidance for nurses to transition from academia to clinical practice in mental health.
Perth Clinic’s Graduate Nurse Program is a unique and exciting program undertaken in partnership with Notre Dame University. The program is designed to expose first year Registered Nurses to a diverse range of clinical experiences in mental health.
Perth Clinic offers a 12 month program for Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses with rotations through four specialty clinical mental health areas. This program includes:
Career pathways for graduate nurses
Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing. This intensive program is a unique collaboration between The University of Notre Dame Australia and Perth Clinic. It comprises units in advanced health assessment, clinical nursing practice and nursing governance. As part of the program, you undertake a series of clinical rotations and written projects.
Upon graduation, graduates can embark on a further year of study leading to a Graduate Diploma of Clinical Nursing and, later, a Master of Nursing.
Intake
Perth Clinic offers one graduate intake per year, in January. Applications for the 2021 program are now closed.
