Dr Tannenbaum is a dual-qualified Specialist Pain Medicine Physician and Psychiatrist. His practice is trauma-informed and person-centred. Dr Tannenbaum focuses on chronic pain assessment and management, psychoeducation, a multidisciplinary treatment approach and pain procedures, where indicated.

Dr Tannenbaum accepts referrals for adults and has interests in:

• Chronic pain assessment and procedures e.g. chronic lower back pain, other musculoskeletal pain conditions, neuropathic pain, headaches.
• Medicolegal evaluations for psychiatric, pain and combined pain/psychiatric workers compensation, motor vehicle and other injury claims, including permanent impairment assessment (in collaboration with https://tikvamedicolegal.com.au/). Dr Tannenbaum is an Approved Permanent Impairment Assessor (APIA) with WorkCover WA.

Dr Tannenbaum does NOT accept referrals for the following:

• General psychiatry
• Long-term opioid management or prescribing
• Children
• Bulk billing
• Assessment or treatment of personality disorders, schizophrenia or other psychotic disorders, primary substance use disorders, current or past registered drug dependent persons, brain injuries, autism or intellectual disability
