Dr Tannenbaum is a psychiatrist and pain specialist working part-time between Perth Clinic, and a major public hospital. His practice is trauma-informed and person-centred. He focuses on psychoeducation and a multidisciplinary treatment approach.

Availability:

Tuesdays and Thursdays only

Dr Tannenbaum considers referrals for adults aged between 20-65 years and has interests in:

• Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
• Medicolegal evaluations for psychiatric, pain and combined pain/psychiatric workers compensation, motor vehicle and other injury claims, including permanent impairment assessment (https://tikvamedicolegal.com.au/).
• Limited availability for assessment and brief interventions for workers compensation, motor vehicle and other injury claims associated with psychiatric and pain symptoms.
• Limited availability to provide opinions and psychoeducation for complex pain and psychiatric presentations (see below).

Dr Tannenbaum does NOT have availability for the following:

• Ongoing treatment of complex combined psychiatric and chronic pain presentations.
• High acuity or emergency cases, or any likely need for inpatient treatment.
• Children or older age presentations.
• Bulk billing.
• Assessment or treatment of personality disorders, schizophrenia or other psychotic disorders, primary substance use disorders, current or past registered drug dependent persons, brain injuries, autism or intellectual disability.
