Clinical Outcomes
Benchmarking reports show our performance in relation to length of stay and treatment “effect size”.
Length of stay: Perth Clinic = 18 days, All hospitals = 20 days
Effect size: Perth Clinic = 1.54, All hospitals = All hospitals 1.47
Effect size is a measure of change from admission to discharge. A score of 0.5 reflects a moderate improvement and a score of 1.0 reflects a large improvement. The results above show that we are able to achieve a slightly better outcome than other hospitals and we achieve this in a shorter stay.
