About Perth Clinic
Education and Research
furthering Education
Perth Clinic has developed an excellent reputation as a training facility and has close links with all major Universities and strongly supports professional development and the training of students and registrars in psychiatry, psychology, occupational therapy, social worker and nursing.
Public lectures are offered annually to the general public, as well as community groups and tertiary institutions
collaborating Research
With state of the art data collection and information technology, Perth Clinic has established links with the University of Western Australia in collaborating research of treatment efficiency.
Evaluations of the patient's mood are conducted on admission and discharge and at follow-up. This information is provided to the patient and their Psychiatrist in graphical form as objective evidence of their progress and the outcome of treatment programs.
As a result of such data collection and statistical review, several articles have now been published in well-reputed journals demonstrating our highly effective treatment outcomes. Our staff is also active participants and presenters of these results at Conferences both Nationally and International.
continuous Development
A good hospital is all about providing and improving the quality of treatment while offering superb hospitality. This sensitive balance is our passion.
Providing a quality service is orientated about continuous quality improvement. Feedback mechanisms via research projects helps us provide ever improving methods of treatment and services in general.
In our efforts to provide the community with the services it requires, we continue to forge ahead, developing working relationships with other private and public sector organisations.
Such relations provide Perth Clinic with opportunity to confirm our outcomes as being the best in Australia and has enabled Perth Clinic to share it's expertise with other hospitals and public services so that we may better serve the consumer.
